The farm
Small farm, big flavor
Cap City 'Shrooms is dedicated to introducing you to the magic of a culinary mushroom's full potential. Every block is grown in-house on East St. Elmo Road in South Austin, and most of our harvest goes straight to Austin restaurant kitchens.
Each mushroom spends 20,160 minutes incubating to classic hit music on FM radio. Can you taste the songs they liked best during their grow cycle?

Quality first
Always fresh, always local
We focus on quality, so the freshest Blue Oyster and Lion's Mane are always on deck. In the cooler months we bring in a few more species, like Shiitake and King Trumpet.
Nothing goes to waste: spent grow blocks go back to Austin gardens as free compost, and our harvest becomes jerky, tinctures and seasoning salt.
